Attended concert by Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra last night, their playing of Symphony No. 5 by Mahler was simply outstanding. The first movement, Funeral march, my favorite, is in somber and grief.
After home, I was completely upset by the TV news showing Admiralty and Mong Kok return chaotic some hours after the ‘order’ is partially restored in the daytime.
After all, Hong Kong is the place we grown up, can we have peace and tranquility back and sustained? Though they may not be in the priority list of everybody, they are what the majority treasured.
