I think yes, should keep moving. The point is, left hand should have pressed the note before right hand cross string. In theory, both hands are not in-sync. About right hand, should adjust angle of the bow to come closer to the upcoming string to avoid any subtle hand movement.
Me too...The first point is to avoid 雜音; the second is to allow tone quality of the notes before and after string crossing remain the same. You will note that if you play scales in slur later on.
3 octaves in a bow, even note, 3 notes in a group, E major/minor is the highest I think. It's for the sake of exam, doesn't sound good. I should resume scales practice.
No matter how many notes/octaves in one bow, you can try to familiarize with left hand fingering in separate bow first.
