A concert by Sarah Chang...
An enjoyable concert, by the City Chamber
Orchestra of Hong Kong with soloist Sarah Chang. Sarah Chang, a world class
star, full house and tremendous number of fans queue up for autograph are
expected. She plays Bruch Violin Concerto
in g minor tonight, this is a work I like.
My first encounter of Bruch violin concerto
was perhaps from a cassette tape, dubbed from vinyl by a classmate a few
decades back. That recording features Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by
Claudio Abbado, with Sholomo Mintz on the violin, coupled with Mendelssohn
violin concerto in e minor.
